it would be chaos. If you look at the general trend of threads here, it takes just one to spoil a thread and make a near pandemonium, imagine in person.

Yep. I think there was a guy here not long ago who said he has some high end RS shock when in reality he has a insync or something, i dont know ask raiyan. Its amazing how different people are online, or hte stuff they do that they would never do in person. I think its the thrill of having people not know who you are

I'd probably get annoyed with the wannabe's before the first turn, turn around and go hit the dirtjumps.

I've hooked up with a couple of forum members. I've ridden with SamDaBikinMan, Raiyn (yes, I've ridden with him and he's a nice guy!), and became friends with H.Star.

Lord Opie and I were supposed to get together for a ride during his visit to his Mom's during Turkey day, but it never worked out.

There are a lot of people here who I consider friends and would love to one day hook up for a ride with. (a couple of the female members as well )

If anyone is ever down my way, let me know!

I've heard good things about opie. SlcPunk rode with him last year...

There are people on here I wanna ride with. Konarider would push my progression level big time. I wanna ride with you...slcpunk I rode with but he isnt around online much since moving to WA. DBD I wanna chill with sometime but he isn't around. A few others on here over time I wanna ride with (some are coming out this summer actually ) or have some beers with

Fer sure, It would be a blast.Let the racer hammerheads go, some would stop to hit the freeride spots on the trail and some would just spin along shooting the breeze. Good times for all. Kona, the wannabes would stay home anyway.

I was down there 2 weeks ago visiting my parents in Mountverde for a week. It's near Lake Apopka. I spent one day at Caladesi Island which is near you if I'm not mistaken. I'll bring my bike next time.

Killer B and mtnbiker66 are within a couple of hours of me... However, I have no car so it's not like I'll be making my way over there to ride with them. I wouldn't mind riding some of the trails over there though.

NathanK (I think) is probably coming to this part of the country to visit his folks and ride, we might get together and ride with some other local friends if it all works out.

Konarider-it's people like you that make me appreciate mountain biking besides the actual biking part. I am relatively new to mountain biking and would love to go with a bunch of people better than me so I can be pushed. Its the people that are better than others and let everybody know about it that I cant stand. Thats my two cents.

I agree... I like to learn from people who are better and more skilled than myself... and it's especially nice when they take the time out to stop and show you what you're doing wrong and help you improve.

Some of my best rides have been when I've been a ride leader showing some newbies some of the local trails.

A Newbies excitement permeates everyone in a group. Remember the first time you rode a "real" trail? I was "glowing" with the adrenaline flow. I ride that same trail now, and it's like, "ho hum, same old trail". Then I think back and remember I was SOOOOO stoked to be riding that day!
