Online route mapping/good paper map for Germany
Hey! I'm planning on a little trip (my first more-than-one-day trip actually).
I'm going from Münster in Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) to Lübeck (to the beach in Travemünde actually), with stops in Bremen and Hamburg.
My bike is no tourer, but I'm confident it can handle this.
I have two small 15L panniers I bought from Aldi (I'm a student on a budget, what can I do ), plus a backpack I'll mount as a handlebar bag. I'm still looking for a cheap one though. I'll be doing Couchsurfing so I don't really need a lot of luggage.
NRW has a really good bike trip router online (https://www.radroutenplaner.nrw.de/), but that covers around 60km of my ~300km trip. Does anyone have an alternative? I would like to be able to download a GPX track, which I'll use with my phone's GPS. Is ridewithgps.com + openstreetmaps cycle reliable? Also in "walking mode" (there is no "official" bike route between Hamburg and Lübeck, that I know of)?
If you know a good map (paper), I'll look into it, although I never navigated with maps before.
Thank you!

Here are 33 links to information about bike touring in Germany.
Not all of them will be of interest to you but there are a few that link to maps and biking routes.
Have a great time.
