Giro Stage 13
Can anybody start these threads? Nobody else has so here goes.
The big news at the start is that both Ryder Hesjedal and Bradley Wiggins will not continue.

Yes, the two people who seemed, at the start, to be most likely to challenge Nibali are gone. They don't know what's wrong with Hesjedal, but he's clearly not well. Now, can Evans really mount a challenge as we approach the toughest sections of the race? Will Sky show the ambition to attack Nibali with Henao and Uran in the mountains? I hope so, othewise he's going to have a pretty serene time.

If only Brad had his old team around him from last year with Leinders sorting out the chest infection and Yates in the background. They know what to do to win a grand tour.

If Ben Franklin were alive today, the saying would be, "The only things certain are death, taxes, and Mark Cavendish winning the bunch sprint"

Looking forward to seeing Sky race their bikes now that Wiggins has withdrawn. The stages this weekend should be pretty epic. You can't go wrong with Sestriere and Galibier. I am expecting some sort of Colombian invasion.

I agree that it will be exciting to see Uran unleashed. Would like to see him close the gap on on Evans and Nibali, but not quite catch them. I would be very surprised if Cavendish starts tomorrow, he has finished what he does.

Is Cav planning to finish the giro? now that he's got the red jersey he might want to carry it to the end!

Evans down 41 seconds in the GC. Nice
Garmin isn't even in it.
Uran is 2:04 down but it's still early I realize.
Go BMC
