1st swim of 2013 yesterday....wtf
well I decided to jump into the lake for a post bike swim and well it sixed really bad......goggled leaked I felt tired and almost drank half the lake. Need to get out more since I have a 1/2 swim in about a month....

good for you though. no pool during the winter? when I was pool training I had a work buddy who did the same and we would joke about how absurdly we s*cked when starting out. guess that's where the training comes in. are they new goggles? or tried and true?

The goggles are old and one of 5 pairs I just grabed the first ones I saw.......I have been lifting all winter so I am tight I plan to swim again this weekend I live in a lake community so access is easy. I usually do the 1/2 mile swim in 20 mins give or take.....I just survive. I ride strong and run poorly but beat most so good enough. No pools for me.......

I swam a few more times since the 1st go and I feel so much better. I was so tight and felt like I was suffocating in the water. I foun dmy good goggles and hope to jump back in tonight. All good.....3 weeks to go....
