Sheesh !! you need to work on the Math of counting things .
Just like on Sesame Street .. One; ha ha ha ... , two; Ha ha ha ...
Single gear? Are you sure? Count again.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gear

;-)

(I presume you mean 'single gear ratio').

Hi, As long as the tubes match up straight it doesn't matter, rgds, sreten.

Seems a decent enough bike for $160 delivered,
though the one shown above is the $200 delivered.

Dear Star:

I got a new GreenZone value edition folding bike for $ 200 (including the bag). I have been very happy with it. So far I have taken it on the Erie Canal ride (400 miles) and Ontario Canada (about 300 miles just two weeks ago). So far no problems and I am please with it's performance.

Before I got this bike I was looking on Craigslist for folding bikes. Here in the Philly area the going price is about $ 100 to $200 bucks and they are mostly Dahons. I test drove one and did not like the nervious handling. I also heard tales about the folding joint not being fixable. I considered the tern, but they are a new maker and I have never seen a used one for sale. After I got my bike and ride it around town people now come up to me and offer to sell me their folders.

Best of luck on your search!

Hi,

I too am a proud owner of a black Greenzone Value edition, and would have suggested this bike to the OP because it has an excellent balance of price to performance, and quality ratio. But it seems that for months now, those bikes are not available any longer. The website says something to the effect that a 3 speed model is coming but when?

To the OP, the Camping World bikes seem like they're decent for the money. Really if all you want is something to take you from point A to point B, and or for pleasure riding, that's all you need.

I picked up a Dahon Mariner D6 on Craigslist for $140 a few months ago, and it was in near-mint condition. They're out there...you just have to be patient.

My fave el cheapo folder is the Fuji from the 90's, the so-called Marlboro bike where you had to give up half a lung and $100 to buy it. Components are decidedly low-rent but can be upgraded; lots of folks here have done just that. Often seen on CL for less than $100, at least by me.

A couple years back, there were a bunch of us who bought cheap single-speed folders, and then added a 3-speed Sturmey-Archer IGH afterwards:

The source that offered the cheap pre-built wheels we used, unfortunately no longer carries that item. Still, it's a possibility if you're willing to lace your own.

No, none of the bikes were stolen as I had recipts etc or knew history.

Hmm, the bottom of this page had an ad from Nextag with three bikes less than $200

But: Craigslist. A 6-speed Dahon Boardwalk is esp nice if you can find one.
