I agree. The bike was originally there to complement the wall and I cut the shot down to feature the bike for this thread. New task: find an equally interesting wall that lets the bike stand out a bit more!

It's actually said that a women is ready for marriage when she can make them with the dull end of the fork. That's how I like it, none of that machine made stuff. Do they serve it with the fried onions in Beaverton?

Yep. Cheese and fried onions.

In certain parts of America they're starting to say that a woman is ready for marriage when she chooses to get married, but other parts of the country aren't so progressive.

Didn't know if you got the "Schwäbische" variety, which I do miss a lot. Not so many good German places in Copenhagen ... too many Italian places ... which is kind of ridiculous considering that Italians aren't even working there ...

Too hipster. The white tires and white chain scream "doesn't get ridden." Not.

Spätzle is about the only thing my wife can make/cook. Fortunately my daughter likes to cook (actually she like to try the food as it's being cooked therefore she has to cook) that means she won't have to rely on me when she gets older.

What's with all the writing on it? That's not hot at all. Has this bike ever been ridden? Looks brand new.

I think it says, "One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them." I could be wrong though. It's kind of hard to make out the writing in this picture and my Black Speech is a little rusty.

That's definitely hot. Except for the angle of the handlebars. I don't like that at all.

Yeah, great pic. The bike is hot too...I'm a fan of minimalist steel road bikes. The brake levers seem high on the bars considering the angle, but if it works for you, great.

Y'know, that backdrop would seem more appropriate for my urban hipster ride than the bucolic suburban garden backdrop I used.

Is this to be the spirit of "Hot 'R Not" or the Commuting forum?

Have you visited the Road Forum "Hot 'R Not" thread? They offer no sympathy points for what "works for you." It's either hot or it isn't.

Now I can see where on the commuting forum we might take a different view. Perhaps anything that isn't functional is immediately "not" here. I'd buy that. I don't know about the converse though. If something is ugly, I'm not sure functionality excuses it.

Have you ever seen a hot bakfiets? No, you haven't.

I don't know. It's like like something Peace Coffee would use if they diversified into funeral services for really short people.

For those of you who don't know, Peace Coffee is a coffee service that delivers by bike:
