What kind of Bike do I have?

I bought a used Bike yesterday from A guy who rebuilt it. I want to know what kind of bike I bought. The only marks on it I could find was a box with 3 horizontal lines inside creating 4 open areas followed by G2. He said it was an 80's Nishiki? Can anyone help?

If I was in your position I'd take a picture of it and ask your question and post the picture in the Classic & Vintage forum.

Pictures would be a huge help. Serial numbers an other frame stamp markings may or may not help.

No help.
That looks like a really tall bike. I hope you're tall (6'-2" or taller?).

Where are photos of the box with the 3 marks in it? Serial number? Any names on the fork blades? how about photos of the seat cluster?

Sum***** that is a HUGE bike! I ride 64cm and that looks like a 68cm! Hope you are well over 6'

The last picture is too blurry to make out any details.

Hi,

If you can stand over the top tube that saddle is way too low.

Your clips are not half toeclips and should be fitted with proper
straps or discarded, they won't do anything much as they are.

Good find for you!

No idea what it is but it reminds me of the special orders we had in our shop for 27" ( Maybe 29") Panasonics in the early 80's for the local University's basketball players. Being a bunch of typical roadies we assembled them and found that a test ride was beyond our reach, as it were.

Hi,

It seems more likely to be a parts bin special than a particular bike, AFAICT.

Can you straddle the top bar comfortably? It looks awful tall. Too tall for the last rider, that's why he had the saddle so low.

Enjoy. It looks like a low end japanese bike.
