Anybody have the RAD Cycle EZ fold work stand

I just ordered this Ebay item # 370665832751 Rad Cycle Ez Fold work stand for $38.97 delivered.... I thought it not to be much of a risk at that price...Wanted to pass it on... No big deal... Will report on it a bit later when i use it...

Got this today and it is adequate i will say... It works fine for what i need it for...I also have the ceiling mounted pulleys so i can suspend it also...For less than $40 for this and it folds away i think it's a pretty decent product.

I was on amazon looking for stands a couple months ago and passed on that one thinking it wouldnt be that great. I may go ahead and buy it to leave in another room. I ended up buying this one: https://www.amazon.com/RAD-Cycle-Prod...rds=Bike+Stand

Anybody have the RAD Cycle EZ fold work stand

It works nicely, a friend of mine builds some simple ones for $40 but I like being able to fold up and put away. The stand has alot of plastic but it's held my beefy bikes just fine.

I bought on and find it lacking. Firstly, there is a clamping device to secure the bottom bracket to the little cradle it sits in. /The design requires that your bicycle have no center mounted kick stand! The clamp for the down tube is feeble. It also doesn't adjust for different frame geometries. it is easy to knock the bottom bracket out of the cradle without the securing hook- not vey stable. For the $40 they sell for, one could buy lumber and Saw Horse brackets and devise a cheaper, steadier stand., or hang a older style trunk bike carrier (Yard sale find almost everywhere) onto a saw horse and also have a sturdier stand.

I got one of those about a year ago, forgot what i paid for it but it was inexpensive, when compared to others anyway I've used it a couple of two or three times and it held my bike sturdy ofcourse I was working on my road bike, not too heavy!I clamp my top tube,,,,,,, for the price,,, it's a good stand,,,,
