retail web sites

What is your favorite web site for ordering bike supplies and accesories? I have been looking at Pricepoint, Nashbar, and Supergo, among others. I seem to like Nashbar the best. I haven't ordered any cycling related things from the net yet though.

Bikes: Lots

Pricepoint, Speedgoat, Airborne....since I started working in a shop, I've been buying most of my stuff there, so I've been a little out of touch, but those three stick out in my mind!

Bikes: Lemond Nevada City (stock), '00 Schwinn Moab 3 (very upgraded)

My favorite is Jensonusa.com. I have also ordered from Performancebike.com, though I have found the Nashbar and Performance seem a little pricier on most things unless they are having a sale. Either way, I still prefer to buy from my LBS.

I like Jensonusa... I found the best prices there for what I was looking for.. but damn, coming from Canada to MA in the US is just painful... took the full 14 days to get here!

Hmmmm... I would have thought so too. Went to their website to check it out. This is the only address I could find:
Jenson USA
1441 Carlos Ave
Ontario, CA 91761
Wonder why it's called USA?

Don't let the 'Ontario, CA' trick you. Our Postal Codes are way different from your 5-digit zip codes and Ontario is just outside Los Angeles - we (Canadian) Ontarians have to know these things!

That's what I get for jumping to conclusions. I know about Canadian postal codes too. Just didn't look. I saw Ontario and and didn't even look at the rest of the address. The power of suggestion wins again.

Ahhh, good call about the Ontario codes... all I know is when I was tracking the package with FedEx, it said Ontario... so for some reason I assumed Canada.. we all know what happens when you assume Thanks for the clarification!

If you go with retailers in the UK and you reside outside of that country be sure that they exclude their VAT on your purchases. Some of the UK retail websites are not set up to do this.

www.cyclesmart.co.uk Cycle Mart is one of those. Their prices are quite good, as is their shipping fees. Unfortunately, their site is not yet set up to deal with the VAT issue. They indicated that their next upgrades will deal with this.

You may want to check out www.phkbicycles.com ? This site is brand new. I sell everything from bmx, mtb, and road. I am always posting items, so your ideas could help me out.

I am a independent shop which puts the rider first. If your looking for a item, give me a call. You will always speak to me, not a selection of telephone sales people.
