Center mounted computer
Are there any computers out there that are center mounted (mounted directly over the stem like the ciclomaster computers in the 90s)?

The Sigma I used to have could mount at 90 degrees sideways so you could mount it to the stem.
It would be pretty easy to make a little mount to give a 90 degree twist. If I get time tomorrow I'll throw something together and post it on Thingiverse.

thanks guys, glad to see there are more options. i also found the quadlock mount system for when i want to mount my phone to my stem for location tracking/reporting.
here's a pic of the ciclomaster i had (this was posted on retrobike). notice the handlebar mount on both sides of the stem; this was very convenient during racing. when the course switched to the alpine, i simply rotated the computer forward so i wouldn't have to look at it (looking at a computer during climbing distracted/discouraged me). man i miss this kind of mount. stem mounts are here to stay i guess.

Oh, I get what you're looking for now...
Aside from offset bar mounts like Barfly and K-Edge for Garmin GPS units, I don't know of any ciclocomputer that has a mount that allows in-line mounting with the centerline of the stem.
There are, however, handlebar extenders that allow that kind of centerline mounting, e.g. FSA's Control Center.

All current Cateye computers that I know of can mount on the stem or handlebar, they designed their mounts to be fastened in either direction. I'm using their Stealth 50 GPS model.
