Recumbent folder? Anyone have one?

I saw a recumbent folding bike by AZUB called in a LA Times review for folding bikes. This was the first time that I've seen a recumbent folder that wasn't home-grown (tip o' the hat to cplager). Anyone else have something like this?

https://www.azub.eu/CZ/folding-recumb...-azub-origami/

Here's the 'review' that talked about it:

https://www.latimes.com/health/la-he-gear-folding-bikes-20131012,0,5891323.column#axzz2inNTWYr6

The review left many other popular folders out, like Dahon and Brompton and that seems odd to me.

Bike Friday at one time made one. They were called Saturdays. There wasn't enough interest so they stopped sales but they are around. Roger

There was a conversion kit for Bromptons. Google.

I have a folding redundant tale trike on its way to me now. It does not gold up as small as a two wheeler, but it looks like a fun ride.

Bike Friday made a suitcase packable Recumbent , the Sat-r-Day, in a 349 & a 406 wheel ,

they come up for resale occasionally , some even through the companies' , pre-loved section ,
potentially, on line viewed.

The former Mrs LWaB had a 349 SatRDay. Her verdict was - nice to ride but slow.

M5 makes one: https://m5recumbents.com/site/EN/Models/CMPCT
I have an M5 Shock Proof 451 and although it's a nice bike, it isn't going to fold unless it runs into something, real hard.

There's also the Toxy Flite, which AFAIK folds smaller than the Origami.

And, Trident has the TWIG folder.

I'm personally partial to the MBB FWD recumbent, but the TWIG looks like a nice folder at a nice price. I predict these will be "popular" (well, in terms of recumbent bikes at least).

I do think MBB FWD is where the best fold will be achieved, due to the chainline contortions needed to get a RWD bent folded.

And then there's this thing: https://singletrackworld.com/forum/to...penny-farthing

I suspect that that is the secret to making a truly compact folding bent, but it'd need a new hub to be designed (the Schlumpf uni hubs aren't good enough, as they're 1:1.5 in high gear, 1:1 in low gear), and it'd be a hub that would only make sense for unicycle (and then only if it's fixed gear), drift trike, and penny farthing applications. Still, a 559 up front, and a 349 in back, could get a decent fold with decent ride.
