I'm going to be in the Georgetown, TX from Wednesday through Thursday of TG week, and I'd love to get in a little CX action while I'm down there. I've checked the Texas CX website and see there aren't any races happening in the area that week. If there's anything less formal taking place, I'd love to hear about it - a weekly hot lap session in a park, a team practice that doesn't mind people dropping in, whatever. Failing that, tips on places to ride would be nice as well (especially any smooth, 'cross bike friendly single track, or an established cross circuit).

Thanks for the tip. That does look like a great time, although I doubt I can swing spending the entire last day of the family (in-law) gathering away from the family gathering. Maybe . . .
