Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Cannondale Synapse

They just got one at the LBS and damn it's a nice looking bike. It seems like with the EVO, Cannondale is going backwards and making them uglier while taking away features. The new EVOs have no internal cable routing whatsoever until you get to the racing editions and that only has it for the rear brake. Meanwhile the new Synapse has internal routing on all of them and while the EVO for 2014 has now 4 different type of carbon layups and you have spend over $4k now to get regular Ballistec that was available last year on the most inexpensive EVO. Synapse gets the 3 carbon layups that the EVO had last year and not the newest cheapest one.
