Road bike rental in Vancouver or Victoria?
Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can suggest a shop to rent a road bike for a few days this spring (April). I will be tagging along as my wife has a confrence in Vancouver. Looking to rent a nice road bike(bring own pedals/shoes/seat/etc) for couple of days and head over to Island, have a buddy in Victoria and another in Lake Cowichan, figured I'd pedal over and visit them. I have emailed a few shops but no replys??? Thanks.

Where in vancouver are you staying? Rent in Vancouver, cycle to ferry (Tsawassen), cycle to victoria (Lochside trail).
info here:
https://www.crd.bc.ca/parks-recreati...trail/lochside
When cycling Van to ferry in Tsawassen, be wary of the massey tunnel. No bikes allowed. You can go the longer way around (alex fraser bridge) like this:
https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=B...&z=10&lci=bike
or there is a public transit bus/shuttle that can take you through the tunnel. Check translink's website for info.
Dont take a car on the ferry, whatever you do. $$$$$$ BC Ferries website will give you rates.
Vancouver Bike Store Diffrent Bikes rents $275/week for a road bike. It will be decent because DB is a decent shop. Call 'em for make/model info. It's on broadway near granville st I believe.
