We don't have a rack at my workplace, but IF I rode in I could just bring my bike into my office.

Some workplaces have allowed me to bring my bike in and lean it up against my desk. I like that best, though it's not possible everywhere.

When I was at NGA,they had actual bike lockers.

They never cleared the snow away from them,but then when it snowed I was the only person who used them.

Your neighborhood looks like that episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where Wesley was playing frisbee or something downplanet with some local youths, and ended up sentenced to death for stepping on the wrong grass. Not sure why.

Why, yes. They certainly do validate my transportation choice. Guard snake and everything.

This time of year, that appreciation really shows in how my co-workers wait for me to change, with no complaint at all, before we set the alarm and lock the building.

Since I'm the boss, I'm able to park my bike right in front of my desk. Anyone who works for me has the same option in front of his or her desk.

it's england, whatcha expect? there's lights, a toolbox with tons of tools and tubes, and CCTV inside the bike lockers ... we have a faculty-only version as well, which is nice.

My workplace is extremely bike friendly. We can bring our bikes right in the office (up elevator or 1 flight of stairs) and we have a bike rack in the office. Bike rack does fill up pretty much every day, but we are allowed to lean our bike against walls, wooden support polls, etc., as long as its not in the way. We even have a shower room for those of use with longer commutes or to change in inclement weather.

Supposedly the building has a bike storage room on the first floor as well, but I, and my coworkers, all seem to feel safer knowing our bikes are where we can see them during the day and employees of other companies in the building don't have access.

I can roll my bike right into the building. Then I have the option of either leaving it in an open space under the stairs on the ground floor or taking it up the elevator to my 4th floor office. I usually leave it on the ground floor. There are only about three or four of us in the building who regularly bike commute.

I'm Central to Charlestown, less than three miles. Crossing Mass Ave is a momentary pain, as well as the dinky yet busy little streets heading up to Somerville before heading east.

they can't clean out in front of the racks at work because people just leave their bikes there. A couple have been there for months now. Sometimes I have evil thoughts

Mine gets parked on a rack inside a secured garage. Just above the rack is a CCTV that is monitored by law enforcement. They also pass my bike on a regular basis while on patrol. I wonder why I even lock it.

I park my folding bike in a an empty cubicle across from my desk. It's become sort a storage area anyway, so no one seems to mind. I used to fold the bike before getting on the elevator and carried it, but now I just roll it into the staff workroom. Mind you, I work in a library, and this takes me across a public floor, but no one has objected. A coworker got a folding bike (with me as inspiration ) and rolled her bike to her desk, so I did the same. Another coworker leaves her non-folding beater bike unsecured in the area near the staff elevator (the area is closed to the public, but used by all the staff). She used to park her previous bike on the street until it got stolen, so our director suggested that she bring her new bike into the building.

My office has indoor bicycle parking AND senior management put us in a location which never snows (although I have seen ice on the ground twice in six years).

We have bike racks outside the offices but no one uses them. The racks for the machine shop bikes are indoors, and people who ride to work keep theirs in their cubes.

Since the public library has always been to one place you can reliably find bike racks, it's no surprise that staff get taken care of as well.

My work has a locked single-car garage where anyone who rides in parks their bike. Cars park outside in the parking lot. I have no idea why the building has this little garage built into it.
