Use sharper cutters and the cables will stay together.

You don't need to cut off the cap. Just squeeze it at 90 degrees to the crimp direction. That'll preserve the cable length. If you're lazy (too far to walk from your repair stand to tool chest with caps) and/or cheap you can even re-use the one you just removed.

Cut the inner wire within 3 seconds.
It will naturally form a solid end which prevent split wire happened. No need
to install the end caps or cable bolt after cutting.

Sounds great! But where to get this product? On their website, they have no mainland US or Canadian Distributor, only a distributor in Puerto Rico is listed and no prices!

Haven't felt the need for a tension meter in 20 years of building wheels (not professionally), and the 30 or so wheels built in that time have had exactly one broken spoke, which was the result of trying to cure a bent (long after the build) rim by truing rather than just replacing the now-scrap rim. BTW, the existing spokes worked fine with the replacement rim, except for the broken one.
