That's the one I assumed it was when they mentioned it. First one that popped into my head, anyway.

...if you can't get correct information in the road forum, well then, I guess it's just not available.
Maybe if I could afford to buy one, I'd know how it was spelled. Anyway, here's the one that came off the Specialized Bike of Steel:
It appears to have minimal offset, as well as a swell clear epoxy insert that doubles as a magnifier for small print.
I wonder if the rumor that all these Specialized CF products are manufactured at night and quenched in kitten's blood is true ?

I think the epoxy magnifying glass is the thing that allows Specialized bikes to ride over large boulders, yet provide a ride like a 72 Cadillac Fleetwood.

Nice looking bike. You do get partial credit for the white garage door, but two demerits for having the drivetrain facing the wrong way.

.....apparently, BMC is involved in a large recall effort, which may help explain why they have been preoccupied.

If you are ever having an annoying day because of the one-two whammy of a dental cleaning & interaction with a frustrating LBS, here's what I recommend:
1. Go ride your bike, 38 mi, even though you have to ride conservatively because you have some big rides planned for this weekend. Especially if it's 80 degrees out and the canyons are all green from a little bit of recent rain.
2. Make a pot of tomato soup, in anticipation of tomato soup + grilled steak salad for dinner. While you're at it, make some croutons.
3. Have a glass of wine while making the soup, since you rode your bike and can afford the calories.
4. Upload your conservative ride to Strava to find a QOM. Admittedly on an 18 sec (formerly 19 sec) segment, but still it's a QOM.

Casually Deliberate
One of the sports talk guys called it "death by a thousand cuts". It's not just how DeSean handled his last contract talks or necessarily his possible association with those affiliated with gang members, but it's those things too.

Thanks for the offer of the post, I really appreciate it. And I might still take you up on it, if BMC does not come through. I have a men's Fizzik saddle and some 3T Ergosum bars that I could offer you in return, lol. The "man" stuff that came with the bike.

...i was thinking that you should at least be required to stand on one foot and type only with your
left hand if you wanted to ask for that post, otherwise, there would be no value to the story.
I can't really vouch for the history of that post anyway, since i took it off another bike that was used
by someone......and who knows how smart they were about torque and stuff.
Anyway, you were Queen for 17 or 18 seconds there with just your regular old alloy post, and nobody can take that away.
Drink more wine with supper and it will matter less and less, until gradually, you will wonder at how it could have seemed at all important.
