Linus Roadster Sport or Bianch Metropoli Uno?
Newbie here and wanted to get opinions of these two bikes. They are in the same price range and I will use it to commute (4 miles each way) and ride around town. I have a buddy who just bought the Linus and loves it, but don't know anyone with this Bianchi model. The LBS guy said it's a half dozen of one or six of another-that it's a matter of personal preference. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The Linus is for sure a better+ more stylish bike. If you live in flatville a 3spd would do, but I would get one with a Sturmey Archer 5w. I have used that hub 5400 awesome carefree miles, with oil substituted for the grease inside. Top speed is 45 mph. Far better than any cheap 3x8 derailler that will last 1/8 as long. SA hubs are impervious to weather and dirt. Service once a year, if that.
Besides that, the UNO is so ugly, has dorky slope tubes, goofy irregular spokes, broom handlebar. It screams CHEAP.

If your ride is flat,the Linus will be fine. If it's hilly you'll want the Bianchi's wider gear range.
