Knowledgeable SRAM service tech on the Peninsula (bay area)?
Hi,
I just got a SRAM Force 22 kit installed on my bike, but is terribly disappointed so far. My dealer fails to get the adjustment right despite 3 separate visits the past week alone:
1) When going to the top 3 largest rings on the back, the gears keep skipping down plus making a grinding constant grinding noise.
2) Upshift from small to large front ring sounds like it will grind down the chain and cogs
3) Downshifts from large to small front sounds like a gunshot (wonder when left shifter will break and in fact, the front shift wire already broke last weekend)
Surely something is wrong with the adjustments, group install or both?
Who in on the Penninsula can help, this can't be how this group is intended to work?
Thanks for the advice.
