I'm also looking for a new helmet for the summer season that looks great.
I'm looking at this Bell Sweep right now. It comes with a removable visor and plugs so it can be used for road or MTB.

I find the Kask helmets to be the best looking on the market. I have the Vertigo and it fits better than any helmet I have tried.

IMHO, I think Kask make the best looking helmets on the market. They also fit my head the best out of every helmet I've ever tried. I tried on the K.50, which is no longer available. It was sleek and fit well. When I need a new helmet, I'm going with a Kask. The downside, is they charge for their style and finish. I also think their TT helmet looks the best (Bambino), but does not vent well from what I understand. Their new semi-aero helmet was on my radar until I saw how "mushroomy" they were on the riders from Sky's heads. Their regular helmets have the lowest mushrooming effect of any helmet I've tried on as well.

Casco Speed looks real good. It looks like track cycling meeting road. I wouldn't mind having one.

I wear glasses, and yes, it does. Obviously, frame shape and face shape affects which do, but in general, wrap type frames (where the temple pieces don't stand out at the lens too far from the face) work best, because there's not a lot of space. Shapes like this are best:

I love my Giro Aeon. I always forget I'm even wearing it, and I think it's one of the best looking out there. You can always find good deals on them too if you look around.

I really like the Bell Sweep helmet. Its well ventilated, and fairly sleek(not bulbous). I've been using Bell Sweep helmets since they introduced the style, and can't find anything I dislike about them.

Because they've been around for so many years, often you can find a leftover from a previous year at a deeply discounted price.

I want a helmet with a visor myself so that I can wear cycling specific perscription glasses while riding.
That would be great for charity rides where I stop more often and at times have to look at unfamiliar route sheets.
Like the Casco helmets the best, no US supplier though.
There is a track/velo store in Chicago that comes up as a dealer, may call them.

Okay, so this guy is about to spend a week at a ranch in Wyoming. He's never worn a cowboy hat so when he's trying them on in the western store thinks they look enormous and utterly ridiculous on him with their huge brims and so he buys the shortest-brimmed hat in the place. Of course, when he gets to the ranch he's the one who looks utterly ridiculous in his little short-brimmed hat and stands out like the dude he really is.

Then there's this other guy who thinks road cycling helmets look utterly ridiculous...

Then let me be a little more direct with my suggestion to the OP: Pick any of the helmets you see being worn in a pro peloton. Any of them will look great on you.

That drop down visor is one of the reasons I bought my scorpion motorcycle helmet. I may have to look into this for the bike since wearing sunglasses when hot get my eyes burning with sweat

OP, aubiecat and BoSoxYacht are bringing up a good choice. I have two Bell Sweep helmets, a very old white one and a newer black and silver one. Sure, its swoopy as most road helmets are, but like BoSoxYacht says, it comes with a visor for MTB riding and it's well ventilated. Bell changes color schemes yearly and discounted models are priced right.
Performance Bike runs sells on them too sometimes.
gridplan, that Kask is the business! LBS carries Kask, held a few, they are sharp. No visor for MTB on the models
they had in stock, but for a pure road helmet, they looked great, felt light weight.

I think that the gentleman above needs to stop caring about fitting in with the coyboys at the ranch. Just because a pro wears it doesn't make it good.

To the OP: all road helmets look kind of unusual. The more vented and aero they are, usually the more unusual they look. I recommend going to your LBS shop, trying a few on, and simply buy whatever you like best. Just because someone else finds it comfortable or attractive doesn't mean you will like it, the only way to know for sure is to try them on.
