My Mountain Bike Trail Log (VIDEOS)
hey all!
i thought it would be a neat idea to start recording all of the trails i ride and post them up. i know when i research a trail i always get kinda irritated because for the most part, there is very little to be found about some of them. ive always wanted pics to look at or some articles to read before going but always had trouble finding good info.
they say a pic is worth a thousand words, so if thats true, then what is a vid worth?
if the mods will allow me to do this here on the forums, i am going to start posting my vids. now for each trail i plan on offering a short quick highlight vid and then also a complete vid of the entire ride, both ways if its an in and out type trail. yes some of the completes vids will be extremely long, but itll be good for potential riders to skim through and get a good sense of what the trail will be like.
please enjoy and dont expect anything extreme or daring out of me in these vids. lol i have a regular job, and i cant risk getting hurt to bad these are just for a good visual and to gain knowledge of what you will face if you decide to do a certain trail, or to experience the ride for yourself on a big screen in your living room.
ive started off with a few simple rides to get used to the gopro and get a feel for the whole film set up. many more trails to come as the months progress and i re ride everything ive ever done.
enjoy and spread these where ever you want!!!!
NEW as of 4-6-14
from here on out i am going to also include in the video a map using google earth that i overlaid my GPS tracks with. this will give viewers and potential riders an idea of whats going on and a real view of the trail. one could also pause the video on the map and hit "print screen" and have a map of the trail to take with you on your ride. not perfect but better than nothing or paying for them. i want to make free to all riders what i find when doing this. so please share my vids and spread these around so everyone can benefit.

Toys are fun, but we need some dirt! Georgia has plenty of it! Don't dodge those parking bumps, bunny hop em!
Out here in the desert SW we don't post anything unless we jump the Grand Canyon or battle a pack of Chupacabra.

Thanks, Satchel. These will go in handy when I'm practicing spinning. Not so much the crashing through the woods, but the faster stuff on the roads and zooming in and out around the river will do great for me.

im redoing all of my rides. ill get more into the dirt soon. this is all for showing people the trails, paved or not, that may want to ride them. i live near a city now so getting to the real tracks in the mountains will have to wait until i can get back to them. have patience my friend.

Does anyone have time to watch a 40+ minute video of anything. I'm thinking that is time better spent clipped in.

Thanks again, Satchel. I grabbed the Chief Ladiga video for practicing.
