Yeah speedo.

It provides a excellent extra layer of containment. It is a carry over from decades of competitive swimming and using old ones when playing other sports in lieu of a jock I guess.

I always wear it, I have never worn padded shorts and I have not experienced much chaffing. 170 km day trips, former 4 day a week 50 km/day commute (now only 20 or 40 km!), or 50+ km club rides.

Plus you never know when you want to hop in the water.

My mistake, i forgot a comma!! I just pop earpods in & strap helmet on over top of that. If i need to wear sun glasses, see the link below. I'm planning to get ear pads (insulated ear covers) for my nutcase though, so we'll see how the earpods work with that..

Headphone cables would simply fit in gap where sunglasses cord sits.

I wear my jeans from work, pant leg rolled up, spd shoes, t shirt with tank top underneath, my helmet and eyeglasses.

I used to be able to wear basketball shorts at work and I loved riding home in those, but my new job makes me wear jeans. I debated changing into my cycling shorts and basketball shorts over the top, but it hasn't gotten that hot yet.

Give it another month or so and I'll be in shorts and a tank top.

Normal shorts with liners underneath, chrome merino wool jersey (looks like a shirt), chrome merino wool socks.

Bike shorts with bright colored basketball shorts over top. Bright colored cheap tank tops (South FL) that way when it gets the mud stain up the back, I don't care, and running shoes. Oh, and nothing matches But I am hoping the cars see me.

Google 'WNBR'. Doesn't get much more comfortable than that.

BTW, clicking on images will not be safe for work..

Jeans and a t-shirt. If its really warm, the jeans might be cut off at the knees. And sandals for most of the season. Since I'm giving clipless a try soon, I'm going to look for a pair of appropriate sandals online.

The past two days it's been 100 degrees, when it's this hot I wear board shorts with liners under and a white shirt, sometimes my merino wool chrome shirt because sweat dries a lot faster in it. Works for me.
