Love for the mobile users?
This has come up several times, but I would like to see an easier to use interface available to mobile users. This can be accomplished as follows:
1) X Tapatalk
2) ? A dedicated mobile app
3) ? https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...etin.vbulletin or other mobile board manager.
4) A mobile V*Bulletin skin
5) Other methods.
1) Tapatalk has been beat to death and due (in part) to security issues, Tapatalk isn't worth using here. We'll leave that one alone.
2) https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...NtStsQSX4IGwAw has been tried but with poor execution. This ethically borders to a scam. (Sorry guys, but this app should be free considering its function. It also doesn't function.)
3) V*Bulletin has their own app which is free to acquire. I haven't tried it yet.
4) A mobile skin for the site sounds easiest to implement. A good example if you pardon the sublime discussion of writing instruments is www.fountainpennetwork.com, though it certainly took them a few tries to get it running right.
Regardless of how, the main functionality I am looking for revolves around participating in threads. Anything else I can take or leave. Hint: one thing I do like about Tapatalk is that "participated" tab that lists threads I have posted in.

There already is a "mobile skin" option (been available for a few months at least). Scroll down to the bottom of the page and on the left side you'll see a drop down menu that will allow you to switch.
I know that Chrome sucks viewing BF in full mode on my Nexus 7 but rocks after switching to the mobile.

Whenever someone does inquire about Tapatalk, I just point them out to this thread- https://www.bikeforums.net/forum-sugg...talk-plug.html

Let's point out the mobile skin too.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

We will not install tapatalk. Up in the stickies, there is a thread explaining all this and why.
