Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was wondering about that as I went to get coffee at lunch time. I knew was some-way associated with that group. The slogan I was thinking of was Strength Through Joy. And their leader's design brief for an affordable car. called the KdF-Wagen.

Brussels reeks of garbage, diesel and beer. I'm not sure how to spin that into a tourist slogan yet, but I still highly recommend the place

If bacon and garlic can't make a thing palatable, nothing can.

Don't boil them. Cut them in half, roast at 400F with a sprinkle of olive oil, until the outer leaves just start to turn black, about 6 minutes.

Major delicious.

This is what we do, too, with the addition of S&P and a warmed pan (so that the cut side [which we face down] is browned/blackened).

I will have to try that.

But I'll include some garlic just in case.

I remembered that. But he bought the 1st gen, two door two seater. Mine is 2nd gen, four door, five seater. Different kind of crazy. And I still only have one kitten, of an inappropriately small stool size.
