Average Speed Update

I am pretty happy.
I rode three centuries this week.
Tuesday training ride - flat to rolling hills - 169.76 km - average speed 22.1 kph. 12+ headwind for 40. 12+ tailwind for 40.
(this ride was a split century - 40+ mile out 40+ miles back, then a bike shop ride of around 20)
Day one TOSRV - nasty head to cross wind. 163.63 km, 21.45 kph.
Day two TOSRV - nice tail wind of 5-7 for the afternoon - 164.22 km- 23.00 kph.

That gives me a nice early season base line.

And of course, couple of beers at the end.

I took the liberty of converting metric to English for those that are metrically challenged.

The mileage is certainly very nice, but I'm not sure average speed given all the variables provides very much information. How much climbing oes the TOSRV involve?

The photos are from Plank's on High Street in Columbus Ohio. Great Pizza!
It is the unofficial finish line - and, of course, the cheering section to welcome the finishers.

TOSRV, and I may be challenged by others, has one section of hills. It is probably a 10 mile section of the route between Chillicothe and Waverly. Other than that, it is either gentle climbs, or rolling hills. There is only 500 ft difference between Columbus and Chillicothe.
