Tire reccs for Mu Uno please

I've been a mu uno owner for about a year now but have never quite been satisfied with bumpy rides. Sidewalks and streets are pretty rough where I live, I've had more than a few occasions where one of my tires have skid up against a raised surface of a sidewalk and almost wiped me out. Same for riding even over the smallest rocks/gravel. I'd like fatter tires to eliminate this but don't have the slightest idea on what to look for. Never upgraded anything on a bike in my life. The extra weight isn't much concern as I don'r have to fold it up and carry it nearly as much as I'm sure a lot of fold up riders intend them for.

Was just coming back to this thread to ask about those after doing some googling on my own actually. There seems to be both a 2" and 2.15". Is there any real discernible difference? Also, am I going to need new tubes or stick with what I've got in my marathon supremes?
