Hello from Jacksonville Beach, FL . Scott CR1 Elite VS Specialized Rouba SL4 Sport

I have a base model aluminum Motobecane road bike that I have enjoyed a lot as a starter bike, but now that I am biking more often and longer distances. I want to get a better smoother and faster bike so I have been shopping local bike shops and I found a 58cm Scott CR1 Elite on sale for $1800 it was $2600 , but I was also looking at a Specialized Roubaix SL4 Sport 105 . Does anyone have any recommendation on which is a better bike ? Thanks any recommendations would be great.

Jeff, not sure what model Scott you have but can you help this person?

I don't think you could go wrong with either bike...but I really like the Roubaix as it fits me better, until I saw the final price....ouch. How much for the Roubaix?
