I am not a fan of the Sun rims in general. They're nice enough but I've had spoke tensioning (evenness) and trueness (seam) with many of the brands rims over the years. There's a reason that Sun rims are priced at a level less then Mavic.

My experience with the M19A11 rims is limited with only a pair built, IIRC. They didn't stand out as either real nice or bad.

Sorry I can't be more jazzed about them. In the hundreds of wheels I've built over the years it's been Sun rimmed ones that disappointed me most often, WRT the build up. Andy.

Why not go with a wider rim like the velocity A23 or the t plus son hb14? I like to build my own wheels but there are some darn good companies building wheels out there at prices that are very competitive with what the parts would cost you. I recently bought a shimano 105/dt spoke/velocity a23 wheelset built by quality bicycle products. The build quality was first rate and the price (on sale) was pretty close to what the parts would have cost me.
