Naww, the people who come in last can be the podiums, the youngest of us are gonna win

BTW, are there any shops that sell these chain tensioners, or anything similar that serves the same purpose?

I dig the Gerolsteiner, Lampre and Credit Agricole team kits this year... Good thing Milram hasn't been up at the front too much or I'd confuse them with Gerolsteiner. I think the team kits are usually over 200USD though so its pretty steep to dress up like superman. I found a Gerolsteiner kit on sale for 190USD but that included hat gloves socks and water bottle as well. I actually asked my mum to pick me up a white TDF jersey when the tour gets to paris... I was thinking either that or the green jersey but I'm not much of a sprinter so...

Still I would like a wool jersey. Someone get on the ordering and I'll fork over the bucks

edit: I just found a bunch of pro team kits (jersey, shorts, hat, socks, gloves) for around 140 bucks canadian... not bad at all... might actually consider it as I need another set of bike clothes and like to look ridiculous.

I did the lake trail out to Whitby and am glad I took the mountain bike, the trail for Fixed Gear would not be good in some parts (but old school ballsy) lot's of woods/ cliff trails/gravel trails/ pretty awesome ride and I did the Rouge Valley highway 2 run comming back and made it out of the valley with out stopping. me thinks I'll want a cross bike like Kieths to add to the clan. took four hours to do the trip

Yes i had those bars thought i would love them but no (but they do look great), the bends up top to much for me & they are shallow drops & short didnt work for me. The b123's very similar just a bit bigger.

I got them on ebay sold them on ebay shortly after! They come up a lot on there.
Cheers

oh they were 42cm

That's good to know about the top bend. I'll consider that as I look for alternatives.

Cheers

I, in a small way, hope you are kidding. I really like the idea of a custom, swanky wool jersey with something unique on it. That being said if you guys all want to get one team's kit, I will (as long as I have access) do a one time only order for team kit and give it to ya'll for cost plus shipping. Another option, if someone know's a good silk screener, is to order up some good quality cycling gear...Descente comes to mind...and have it all silk screened with some form of logo or such. I have had jersey's done with silk screen in the past. While not as nice as sublimation it still hold's up pretty well and as long as the silk screener is good you don't get the sweaty action where the logo goes. Just a thought. Talk amongst yerselves.

I agree fully. Everything else you said I'm going to pretend you didn't.

Has anyone ever had their bike just feel "different" all of a sudden. The last couple of days my bike feels really "squirmy" or something. It feels like something in the front end... like it just doesn't want to track straight or something. At first I thought maybe I was low on air in the front tire, but it seems fine. Headset seems fine. Bars/stem are tight. No idea. Maybe it's because I did some riding on my road bike on the weekend and now my fixie feels weird..? I have no idea. It's weirding me out though.

@ ill mitch:
any luck with finding shops in the city? I've been looking for a while now and haven't found anybody that has anything like them in stock.
www.danscomp.com has a huge selection of tensioners, I have yet to place an order for a $7 part that's going to cost $10+ to ship though.

I doubt they have NJS under the glass, but there are certain to be tensioners at Sweet Petes, they have a large BMX selection. The wife also suggests Hogtown on King st, BMX places will have more selection than anyone else

My wife is in the promotions bidness. As it is she has several screeners that she uses, one of which I know will do it for cost. I can do the setup so that shooting the film/screen is cheaper. It's just a question of if he has the right ink for poly fabrics, and if he's a screener worth his salt he should. They do all the cancer society tees and such(wife's company). Still awaiting my embroidered Traffic Jammer gear. Nice text book sprint to the finish yesterday.

IMHO... if you can't keep up with the pro you shouldn't be wearing their clothes. No dis intended Shiz, but I know how hard they work to get on those squads. Pro gear on a non-pro is just wrong, unless the pro gave it to you. Then you NEVER take it off.

nooooooooooo that's evil. You ok?...no damage? Wes I wanted to ask you, have you heard of medical tanning for psoriasis? My wife met this dude yesterday who has had the treatment and said it's almost totally cleared up the affected areas. (pink patches are all that's left) It's like a 25 -45 sec treatment.
