Wow the ITT shook **** up today.
Just makes me wanna go fast somewhere today. After I clean up .... maybe.
Jet... good on you, a new ride...wooohoooo!!!
Nice to meet some new faces yesterday. My wife was so relieved to hear I'd seen the end of the stage elsewhere and that there would be no bike racing that evening at home.

Well I believe that qualifies as having been schooled by an expert. I'll take your opinion seriously on this. Thanks man. So my fear of carbon is unfounded?

carbon is pretty much the strongest and can be the most stiff frame material out there, It takes a lot more force to break a carbon frame then a steel or aluminum frame.

"Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let you all know I'm in a big show with Circus Orange next weekend in Toronto. The show is called "Tricycle" and is part of Celebrate Toronto! Street Festival. The show takes place on Friday July 7th and Saturday July 8th at Yonge-Dundas Square. Both shows begin at 9:30pm and they're free to the public. This is a super fun show with lots of characters and a ton of fire and pyrotechnics!! I'm sure you've all heard me talking about this one...it's my favourite. If you want to check out some photos of the show go to www.circusorange.com (I'm the one in the wheel). "
Looks fun .... off to Saigon for dinner and then to the show tonight.
Have a good one all.

Somna,
Remember that site you told me about where the guy was "trading up" from a paper clip? Take a look at what he ended up with.
PS. Walked in the door, 2 slices of pizza. Ten minutes later, burrito party. 30 minutes later, bag of chips and a bowl of cereal. Mmm, stuffed.

From 76th to 34th, something like that. Awesome ride, and a Frenchman to boot )
This is what happens after the ITT and the "positions" before the mountains are somewhat set.
He was no threat to the GC. Good on im though his first line win as well. my coffee to him.
The tricycle thing was pretty cool I gotta say.

OK I had a wierd surprise when I woke up , I changed the tires on my Cargo bike to touring tires to make it faster to get to trailer camp sites I also redid the the trailer wheels cause the were rusting all to sh*t I cleaned them and used the new tremclad rust paint ,any how I came down and found the valve blown right out of the rim? I did not over inflate the tire I did'nt even get to ride it what would cause that ?

Well spent about the last hour riding up and down my street(only time on the bike this great weekend)laying some skids but mostly trying to do backwards circles not as easy as it looks (only seen one dude do it well). Practice, practice, practice.

Here is my GT looking very utilitarian with the lights and fender. I haven't yet decided if I am going to cut the steerer and I stole the rear fender from my mountain bike as it is pretty wet out today....I'll slap some road fenders on it soon enough as I think this bike is going to be used during the winter/spring quite a bit. The bike rides nicely and isn't as stiff as I had anticipated, maybe because of the carbon fibre fork and seatpost. So far I love it and the gearing is fine for me (52X16) but I am going to have to learn to skid differently now. Questions? Comments?

52x16 brakeless... I like! You're insane though for running clips with no straps... Just because those wheels are made of gold doesn't mean you are. I like the stance of that bike but I would throw on a metal fork personally; it looks like it wants to be thrashed around more than carbon can take... In fact I'd probably put on some different wheels (no matter how sweet they may be) just for peace of mind tearing around in the rain sleet and snow. And just a personal form vs. function thing: unless you're running unwrapped bars you don't really need a top tube protector bulge. Great bike overall though.
