Naw it changes the whole geometry, as the attack angle is reduced. To engineer a system like that to simply adjust a perfectly adjustable seat would be grounds for tearing up someone's degree.

GRRRR
I, being an idiot, think I left my two PAC tool bags somewhere at the Ex finish of the race. If anyone happened to pick them up OR the tools in there I would love to get them back. If not then I guess I'm paying the stupidity tax for replacements.
PS: thanks duppy and TJ for the spokecard, I and I thank you

Your welcome, for my small part. Keith did a biggie by laminating them as well, as the laminator was pressed for time.

A buddy of mine emailed me yesterday telling me he wanted to buy a road bike. His budget is about a grand. I have to talk to him about what specifically he wants to ride, but what are people thoughts on the best type of bike.
I don't want to get into the whole "well, is the Trek X better than the Specialized Y", but I was thinking that he might be better off getting a good used bike, rather than a mediocre new one.
Craigslist seems like a good place for people who know what they're looking for, and want to fix it up. But that Canadian Cyclist Classifieds seems to be a good site. Any other sites where you might be able to pick something up locally (ie. go for a bit of test ride, and not spend an equal amount to the selling price on shipping).
2Wheels: Good seeing you yesterday!

BTW, I've done about 11k on my Pro Race 2 front wheel, and 6k on the back. I suppose I should put on new ones, but I haven't flatted since I changed out the back tire (6k ago), so I just figure keep going until I need to change.

the bars just look dangerous as hell in a crash. It's one thing to break a thumb on a hood, but those look like you could get seriously tangled in a crash. I'd give it a Chuck Yeager though. Shouldn't there be a second pivot at the BB?

The Rol San is always weird. One time I will think it's the greatest food ever, the next time I'll think it's bland and boring. Strange place.
