I just found a nice new innovative folder: GoBike. It's a folding bike from Belgium, and production has been just started, or will start soon.

Their website looks a bit horror, but the bike is one of the coolest folders I have seen until so far:

It looks good. It's a cross between the Birdy and Brompton. The orange bike is the best. Unfortunately, it will be unaffordable in the U.S as I suspect the price will be over $1,200.00 dollars.

Very nice Although.

I was just thinking it looked like a Birdy. I'd get it for no more than a couple of hundred bucks.

It is innovative. This folder explosion is fascinating. However, I find that about 70% of people I encounter don't even know folders exist and as many as 90% have never seen one.

Okay I find out more:

- This is not a bike from Belgium, it is just only distributed by a Belgium company;
- See also https://www.gobike.jp ;
- Contacted the only Dutch dealer. He is hearing different stories for 6 months now from the distributor. He first want to see that the bike become available. So maybe the whole bike is vaporware.

The GoBike has been around for some time. There is a detailed review (four pages long) in issue number 11 of VeloVision magazine for September 2003, complete with numerous colour pictures of the bike, including the folding sequence. From the discussion in the article, GoBike originated in Boischatel, Quebec, Canada. There is also a Web site for the GoBike company - https://www.gobikeonline.com/

The gearing looks reasonable although it does not have the same range as a Dahon.
