Good news on the double strap/cage combo, I'm ordering some real soon !

Also, why does retrogression not carry stems?

In other news, our Maxway-built 'Excel' track frame just hit the store today:

nice to see an affordable frame with nice looking ends. You guys need an icon or mascot or a cool RO design or something so you don't have to write the entire word on the bike twice.

The white is definitely my favorite too. I thought I would like the black better but something about the gloss white with the brushed silver decals just looks so right.

Did you guys see the fork too?

Looks good, but what's Maxway? Do they build frames for any other brand names?

Yes sir. Maxway builds frames for a lot of companies - namely the older Jamis Sputnik, Fuji Obey and SE Premium Brew frames (among others).

Thanks man! They do come with a seatpost clamp (I just added that to the description).

We already have a lugged straight fork available with the same rake and tire clearance that will work just as well if that's your steez:

I will definitely consider that fork; yeah I'm seriously not digging that unicrown on my wife's via condotti although she doesn't mind... but the catch is, I have plans for a disc brake upgrade along the way. And some paint matching to preserve the color scheme; if I would go with your fork, I'll keep the crown accents raw whilest the upper half painted celeste.

On another note; your straight fork is nearly identical to the fork on my paddywagon; minus the fender eyelets.

I think it turned out great. I'd be all over one if the misses would allow it and/or I didn't already have 2 projects in the work. The brushed Aluminum turned out very nice. Any head tube shots of the black?

They're no boat anchors but they are heavier than M13s (I believe the M13 weighs around 495 grams while the Alex G6000 weighs in around 655 grams) but they're super durable rims that a lot of FGFS riders were gung ho about before most of them switched over to 26" wheels.

If you want a wheel you won't have to mess with all the time without being overly conscious of weight, they're a good choice.
