As much as I'd love a discount code to BF members, I'd rather see RG stay in business.

Prices are cheap as is, other reputable sellers have the same components on their websites for a considerably higher price. Even when said sellers have discount codes, a lot of parts still end up higher priced. The people behind RG are a big reason why I buy from them, but even if I didn't internet bro-fist Scrod, I'd still buy from RG.

Edit: I saw you joking about slanging dope in another thread Scrod, but I really got to thinking. Some of the RG prices are head-scratchingly low compared to other websites. Hmmm...

That was a fascinating post; non sequitur but fascinating. You should go into politics.

What's non sequitur? Looks Latin. I'm assuming it means "completely unrelated".

Without divulging things that I shouldn't, I'll just say that I have access to a few major cycling distributors and I know for a fact that his prices are really low. I mean, I'm at a big-box joint and he still has some things cheaper than I can sell them for profitably. I don't get it, but I appreciate it.

Scrod, I'll look into kit companies.

Dave,

i got sad at the fact that I was going to buy a Scrambler, so I said screw it and decided to get a Big Block when I have the chance.
Questions: Why does the big block have such long top tubes compared to other frames? 49cm seems stupid small, even thoug it has a 53.5 top tube..

Can you get other colors? Specifically the red one?

Top tube length doesn't seem very excessive to me. Any 49cm frame designed for 700c wheels is going to be a little wonky.

As of right now, the frameset is only available in white.

mildly sloping top tube + sharp headtube angle + lax seat tube angle = longer than usual effective TT

If they become available from our US distributor (QBP), we will have them.

I have some tools if you need to borrow them, although I am all the way up in North York. You have a bike co-op near you, Bikesauce...you said you were in the Danforth area correct?

Sorry, off topic...on topic question, are you getting only one size in the Seagull bag?

Is that a full restock of the silver Suburban risers?

I'm itching to place an order now, but I also want to wait to see what the bags look like.

It's one we found hiding in the shop. Our full shipment of them is still "missing". Thanks UPS.

Yo scrod, I just placed an order, and am having it shipped to a different address, but I should be listed as the card holder.

Forgot to attach a note with the spoke lengths, they're 264mm.

Thanks.
