Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Anyhow, that was my obligatory vegan post. Randomly found that picture at the top of some BBC article about foot-and-mouth vaccination (which I'm sure makes your cow juice taste yummy). Good lookin' out google.

do you think that would really work?

i was thinking of just having a pair made for me at a local leather shop.

i find it ridiculous that i can easily find red leather, blue leather and hot pink leather but not brown.

I would highly recommend getting the laminated ones rather then straight up leather. I had one break in a sprint once and it almost killed me. I really love the leather straps but I use nylon now
