Ok, I had an awesome day at the swap meet yesterday! Among my finds are a nicer Fuji frame with great components and Shimano 600 pedals with clips and straps, EC for $10.
My question is, how do I put the strap through the buckle? I don't know how to work it. I'm so embarassed, I've been searching here and on eBay for a closeup picture for over an hour, and can't find one! I've only ridden BMX platforms before.

The photos should be able to help you.
#4 shows the turns in the strap when it's threaded thru the back side of the pedal.
The crazy Italians taught me that years ago, said it was for luck.
I threaded may staps in many years, I always make the TURNS.

Awesome, guys! Thanks alot-I got it. I also just fell over in my apartment and knocked my futon over...
That twist, while it may be lucky, I also think is to keep the strap from moving around.
I'm gonna like this.
