    Wheelie bike?

So here's what could be seen as an odd question. What's the best singlespeed to do wheelies on? That's the one thing I miss about my childhood bikes. Going fast on a road frame is great, but some times what you need is to just let your hair down and goof off. I have to say in advance that the itty bitty BMX frames don't count, just singlespeed frames like the monocog, etc.

    Thanks in advance

the shorter the chainstay the easier the wheelie....

or get a shorter stem and/or a layback post to get yourself further back.

really you can do sweet wheelies on pretty much any bike if you are in the right gear. I saw a dude on a fixed gear riding down the street when I was visiting Austin, Texas. He was in a constant wheelie right through the intersection. But his gearing was probably at 39T front ring and a 20T rear ring.

I wheelie the track bike in 48 x 16 all the time. You just bring it up to the sweet spot and hold it there.

I passed a group of "posties" the the other day doing a no handed wheelie and smoking a cigarette. Yeah, that's how cool I am!
