My Apartment was broken into today and my 2004 Pista was stolen. You know what they look like. It was mostly stock except for chrome MKS pedals and cages, white bar tape, a white perforated Selle Turbo saddle and green Kenda Koncept tires. It's pretty unmistakeable.
If you see it on the street (doubtful) or at a pawn shop please call me immediately at 314.239.3512
I would have rather had my car been stolen. Thanks in advance guys!

That totally sucks. Where is your pad at? When I lived in Bucktown, I locked my bike to a radiator pipe.

I already put the word out with some of the shady types around Humboldt that I'm looking for a track bike. If they come up with any, I'll buy them back and try to make sure they get back to their rightful owners.

Thanks a lot. I've called a lot of my friends who are messengers to help get the word out as well. I'm just hoping that the a$$hole didn't get ran over over he realized he didn't have any brakes...for the bikes sake.

I feel your pain. I had a bike stolen back in '98 near the Merchandise Mart... Ive been waiting to find someone riding ever since. I would tackle them and ride it away.

I passed this along to a friend of mine in Chi-town who digs on bikes. Hopefully she'll spread it from there.

Hey Cuervo I think we rode together for a minute the other day and talked about going brakeless. Am I crazy? I'm on a red DeBernardi and we met up on Damen.

Hey, you can get alot of people looking for it. Go to www.fixedgeargallery.com and go to the forums. There's a section dedicated to stolen fixed gear bikes. Currently there are no posts in the thread and I'm sure everyone is itching to put it to use and be on the lookout. Just be sure to include a picture and description and your location.

koffe brown is standing next very similar looking bike and asked the guy where he got it, he replied "harris cyclerly about 2 days ago" KB will be there until around 3:00pm (central)....
jose's number went to voice mail, so if anyone knows him or can get in touch, please call KB at: (deleted)so we can get this bike back to the right person!
the bike is currently at:
240 east ontario, outside of a restuarnt, in chicago
Update:
It turns out that this is not the bike, after talking to the guy some more, KB got the details.... so I guess the pista is still out there

You're looking for trouble by being bike vigilantes.
Besides there must be literally 100 of those on the northside of town alone!

Good lookin' out guys but Raygunner was right. It was one of the other 100 Pistas in the city. That is, unless the guy was crazy enough to steal my bike and purchase a silver WTB saddle and put it BACK on the bike. I wouldn't even want to mess with someone loco enough to do something like that.
