Building a Speedvagen Urban Racer sort of bike?
So while these bikes are hugely expensive, I really like the idea of them:
SV Urban Racer ? The Vanilla Workshop
Also similar to the Budnitz:
Budnitz Bicycles | High end titanium and steel city bikes, cycling apparel, components, and accessories
(which looks like a bargain by comparison).
If you were going to build something like this that mortals could afford where would you start?
Geometry doesn't look too aggressive and you'd want clearance for big tires cause those seem kinda key. Maybe 650c wheels.
Seems like a fun thing to build. Love to hear what people think (besides that Speedvagen is stupid and expensive, which many people have already said).
Used frames, new frames, mountain bike based whatever.
