It a respect cycles minivelo, well that's the frame at least. I built it up with a Java carbon fork I got off eBay, shimano Zee cranks, a custom wheel set with velocity aeroheat rims and a BMX 9t cassette hub in the rear and a disk hub in the front well that's the highlights at least.

looking to be easier said than done. They are appearing to be not very common in the states. Also discovered f1 bmx and did a little reading on them.

Another vote for Kojaks. I've run them in 20'' on my minvelo and my folders. Good grip and low rolling resistance.
