Deep V questions

I'm hoping someone knows this off the top of their head. How long of a valve stem do i need with the Velocity Deep V rims? I broke one this morning and don't have time to go home and check before I go to the LBS.

according to their site the rims are 30mm deep https://velocityusa.com/rim-diagrams.php
so i'd guess a 45 would be about right.

I usually just ask for the long stem version of whatever they have. If you can get those 65mm ones, great, but most of the long stem variety have worked for me.

you can also get away with a regular one if you use a adaptor on to make it the other type of valve.

Freewheel on Hayes in SF has 'em apparently.

Apparently Yellowjersey (yellowjersey.org) can get 'em.

Also, if you call Velocity direct you can ask for non-machined and white.]

This is what many have found out - just spitting it back out for ya.

Yellow Jersey will get for ya without those ugly machined sidewalls as well.

The owner of that bike painted those rims (and the fork too) him or herself.

That's Chris' (BF member Unasthetic) bike. He had the wheels powdercoated by A1 Underground in the Mission.
