Storing my single speed
Hi everyone,
I have just restored an old road frame and built it into a single speed. The frame used to be my grandfather's so it is very dear to me, and I want to store it nicely.
Do you have any suggestions on how to best store it in my small apartment?
I have done some digging and 2 options stand out:
Get CLUG the tiny Clug looks nice without bike, but I don't like that the bike will still take much space because of the way it mounts to the wall.
Products | KP Cykler Shop | KP Cykler Shop the Bike Hanger by KP Cykler looks perfect but has anyone bought it in the States? I can see they can ship it here but will I have to pay any duties?

If you're going to hang it on the wall, keep in mind that you're going to need to drill into a stud. I use one of these for my bikes. It stays in place by micro-adjusting the length to brace against the floor/ceiling.

Old set of drops and a quill.. quick trip to the hardware store and a little black paint for the base.... got yourself a decent little rack for cheap

I didn't mind drilling into the wall/stud and use a couple of these - not pretty but how can you beat it for only $6 at Home Depots?

I would totally go for the DIY version but I think it might be just a little too time consuming and another thing on the to-do list for a few months. Plus the one from Denmark is also made in limited edition with would be a nice touch for a special bike. It looks like it attaches to the wall quite easily too.
But the $139 is already quite high so I'm wondering if there are more costs involved? Does anyone have experience with ordering stuff from Europe? I see I have to pay sales tax here. Is there any duty or anything else?
That one is absolute ace if I just had more floor space.. Is it something you got laser cut for yourself or can you buy these?

I made it with a CNC router. Can be made out of just about anything.

I've got 3 clugs and like em, but I also have a corner of the den/office room with enough room to waste for storing 3 spaced-out bikes in clugs.

I have the exact same rack, except that it's set up outside on my patio. It's only good with the bikes inserted from the front and spaced every other support, which takes up a lot of space. Most of my bikes are stored in my garage, hung from ceiling hooks.

I went for limited The Bike Hanger in brown . It arrived yesterday and looks supreme! Pictures to follow once I get it up!

I got this little wall-mounted rack from Home Depot for $6. 2 holes into the stone above my fireplace (easily patched with putty), and it turns my bike into wall art.
