Nitto RB006

Have had these sitting around for a year and decided to throw on the Madison, trying to make up my mind between these or B105 drops I have as well. I love RB002 and RB010 but all my stems are 25.4 so wanted something to fit them. They are pretty comfy to ride but not sure how I feel about the aesthetic. Also didn't see a thread on them so might be good info for future searchers.

Pros: 25.4 clamp, shallow drop, 380 width, slight sweep; cons: no "flare" at the ends, 22.2 diameter.

Looking for some opinions, thoughts?

They look a bit odd, but I'd have to ride them to tell if I liked the feel. But hey, different is good. They'll probably get a lot of comments out in the world.

Cap those bar ends unless you intend on taking a core sample of yourself.

I'll be taking cores of other people so that's fine.

Yeah...if he crashes hard enough to have the ends of those bars make contact with any part of his body, he'll certainly have bigger problems than the uncapped ends.

I hate those bars on that bike, BTW.

A risk worth taking when they come with your tape or cost a few dollars separately?

Ouch - but this (also NSFW) oldie-but-goodie is what convinced me on the subject...

Any thoughts on the Nitto bars or is this thread fully hijacked?

Love that bike, period.

like the B105 better then the first set you showed us. I like my bullhorns to drop down about 40 mm from the clamp area before coming around.

Thanks for the input guys, I am riding the B105 and they are the better option. Waiting on a new wheel set to do a proper photoshoot.

Selling the RB006, if anyone is interested
