Niner Bikes complete pricing?
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum but not to the sport. Just a quick question about the Niner Bikes One 9; Is the 1,600$ price quoted on their site the price for a complete bike or just for frame, fork, wheels, and brakes? MAybe a dumb question but 1,600 almost sounds too good to be true for such a high-end 29er. thanks a lot!

You looking at building up a SS29er or do you want a prebuilt?
EDIT: (hit the right key combo to submit this unfinished)
anyways.. You got the Fisher Rig with an MSRP of 1099. The only other SS 29ers you can buy complete are through Airbourne and a few custom builders (like Waltworks). I have had my eyes set on a Karate Monkey to build up.... heard nothing buy good about Surly and the Karate Monkey. Not to mention the reward of building it yourself.

Ah well, although I'm mechanically inclined and would enjoy building up my own ss29, I'm also poor and have a slim selection of tools to build with. It's too bad these niner bikes are just coming out now, last year I bought a race bike and after riding it for a while, I realize that it's just too fragile to be my everyday rig (top line stp 400 that got lost in the back room of my local bike shop). I could stomach 1500 or 1600 for a nice complete but from what you said it seems that after building the one 9 up it would be more like 23 or 2400.
