Well I've got the 127 EAI's. Didn't realise there were two versions of the 127..... I like mine, but I can only compare them to road bars. Very comfortable in the drops.

well those are actually the exact same bars except the EAI's have the drops chopped a little bit. I guess it's to reduce wieght since the bars already have an ergonomic grip part in the drops.

EAI.

i have cut 127s, and that extra bit is totally useless.

hey you, i've got the 127's. just took them off the steamroller to put the modolo pista bars back on for a bit. i'm not using them right now, so if you want to borrow them to try them out let me know. the reach on the 127s isn't as much as the 123s (which i have on the spicer) 92mm vs 108mm, but the drops the same, 170mm. they're really comfortable bars, although i like the swoopiness of the 123s and the modolos better aesthetically. let me know if you want to try em out.

infestedguy1,

It would be awesome if I could borrow them. I'm getting ready to take the class down at the drome in June and I need some drops. You up for doing the class with me. For all the Atlanta area folks, make sure you check this thread in the Track Forum.

Edit: Also check out this thread on the Sopo Forum.

123's are all curve and all beautiful. That flat bit on the 127's is very roadie looking and also very ugly looking...

Unless anyone else has something to say about 127's vs 123's, I defer to these threads:
how comfortable are track bars
Track drops- Form or Function
