Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I heard he's pretty cheap because trained chickens do most of the work.

If anyone made me hand polish stainless lugs like that, I don't think there is enough zeros in the world for what I'd charge, so it's probably a bargain.

Care to enlighten me with a numerical figure rather than just vague comparisions?

Think B-1 bomber, and then stack Alberta taxes on top of it. But on Boxing day.

Is it me, or is this combination the ugliest thing you've ever seen? [carbon spacers on a polished lugged stem/fork/bike?]

I think the carbon spacers look fine. especially consdiering its threadless. I just think the headset is ugly and that the frame is generally completely over the top. Its like, where are the tassels?

i don't think i would want a bike that nice because i would be afraid of oxygen getting on it...

that carbon spacer really looks like toilets though. i think it should be polished to match the record headset and lugs.

I agree about the ugly headset spacers too by the way.

I also have one of his track bikes, not on FGG, which is less ornate and consequently cheaper by nearly 1500 bucks.
