calling all cranks
Would anyone have the following, used but not too badly abused? This is for my leave-it-out-on-street-bike, so ugly duckling is fine.
I need a crankset, something that will accept a 36t or so ring. I have a 40 on there now but the arms are only 140mm I like short cranks and all but trying to climb any kind of grade with these is kinda ridiculous (probably good for a laugh visually....).
What I was hoping for was alloy, mebbe a MTB triple with at least the middle ring, prefer 34-38T, and between 160 and 170mm arms. It definitely can't be over 170 (so sayeth my knees) and has to fit squared axles.
I'm willing to pay, but frankly don't want to pay a lot since this is for my POS bike. I am willing to throw in the 140 cranks in trade for the right masochist out there! They are cottered steel (heavy duty, Rudge). I've checked ebay, craig's and local shops to no avail, so I hope someone out there can help me.....I have a few other components to trade so lemme know if you have a crank that will work for me and you need something.
Thanks!
