RotoBike

Here's a lil sumthing I saw today, a fixed gear with noo handlebars steered by shifting your weight, looks totally fun. this is what bike polo needs, it even sez it's design is specifically for use in parks, squares n sidewalks, which is good cause in traffic it'd be a death trap

haha its pretty much a unicycle with a training wheel!

Looks like its belt driven too!
Edit: apparently not though

Hmm.. Funky! It looks like it would be easy to make one, though you'd need to make sure you had a vertical headtube, and a negative camber (like a shopping cart caster). Simple as hell though!

I'd ride one... Maybe I'll make one soon.. Too many bike construction projects though. :(

peace,
sam

i used to have something a lot like that but it had a skateboard truck in front...

similar, but different... mine had a freewheel on a 20in wheel, with a brake lever under the seat... a bit bigger overall...

I could really see myself getting hurt on one of those things!! Very cool Sam! Thanks!

No it's belt driven. Watch the clip.

ehh, looked like a belt to me from the pics, but I clicked on the tech specs page and it said "The transmission system is the rigid type which uses a trapezoid chain." Could just be crappy automated translation from Italian though

definitely belt-drive. check out http://www.corriere.it/Media/Video/1...DSL_171201.ram

it reminds me of the crazy genre of bikes from "cycle ball"...

and "artistic cycling"...
