Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Fixed gear in Reno NV

http://www.newsreview.com/issues/ren...5-19/cover.asp

Scroll down to "Life in the fast lane". An article about fixed gear bikes and the culture in Reno. I thought it was a pretty good article, it was nice to see recognition in my town. I thought maybe some of you might enjoy it too. The guy who helped me out building my singlespeed is mentioned in the article, Eric. Best bike shop in town, if anyone's form this area.
