Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Soma Rush Complete

Hey all, I am wondering if anyone on here has any thoughts on the soma rush complete? I did a search and only came up with one review by yonderboy it was good so far. I was in portland last weekend and talked to some guys at velo shop, they mentioned they weren't happy with the factory built one, but the guys from Veloce cycles seemed to think they are great.

Thought I would run it by you guys and see what you thought.

It's right in my price range, I am looking to spend right around 1k all together (a little under if possible) and this seems to be the best bang for my buck, I figure I can just upgrade/replace parts as they go out...

well without the component list and the price, it's hard to say. i bought a rush frame and built it up for about $1000 total into a pretty great bike. If you wanted a complete bike for significantly less than that I'd say IRO or Pista.
